How these are counted

Visitor
One browser tab on the page. Reloading doesn't count twice.
Uploaded
Picked a photo that passed the size checks.
Forwarded
Entered their email and got sent to their product page.
Bounced
Never got forwarded, and has left: closed the tab, navigated away, or idle for 30+ minutes.
Started / saw email signup
Started: the portrait job was accepted. Saw email signup: the portrait finished and they reached the email step.
Bought vs orders
"Bought" counts tracked visitors (whose visit started in these dates) who placed an order. "Orders" counts every AI-print order, so it's higher: it also includes buyers we couldn't track (ad blockers, EU visitors who declined cookies) and repeat orders from someone already counted. On single days they can differ more: Bought counts a buyer on the day their visit started, Orders on the day the order was placed, so someone who comes back to buy two days later shows up on different days.
Left while waiting
Started a portrait but left before it was ready.
Source
From the link's UTM tags, an ad click ID, or the site that linked them. "(direct)" means typed in or bookmarked.
Device
From the browser. iPads usually show up as desktop.
Orders and order value
All orders containing an AI print, on the UTC day they were bought, including visitors we couldn't track. Order value is the whole order's total as the customer paid it (after discounts, including shipping and tax), counted once per order, the same as Shopify's order total. Orders from before it was recorded add nothing to it. "Bought" in the funnel only counts tracked visitors.
Device filter
Every number follows it. With a device picked, portraits, orders and order value only count the ones we could match to a tracked visit on that device.
What visitors did
Counted from the widget itself, never guessed: each visitor goes in the furthest step they reached. Didn't upload, photo rejected (too big), uploaded but never pressed Generate, pressed Generate but it didn't start (verification failed, the server refused it, or they left while it was verifying), or started a portrait.
Time on page
Time the page was actually on screen (a tab left in the background doesn't count). "Typical" is the middle visitor; the average counts each visit up to 1 hour.
Page load time
From tapping the link to the page being fully loaded, measured by the visitor's browser.
How they left
Based on the last link they clicked in the 5 seconds before leaving. No link means they closed the tab, went back, or closed the Facebook/Instagram browser.
EU visitors
Only counted once they accept analytics cookies, so EU numbers run low.
